According to the leak, the Mi Band 7 may get built-in GPS support. This is a feature that we have seen earlier on Redmi and Xiaomi smartwatches as well. This is an interesting update. This is because a firmware on the Mi Band 6 has also suggested that it will have integrated GPS support but the last product will not come with this service. In addition, the Mi Band 7 also comes with a Smart Alarm feature that will wake you up from sleep a little 30 minutes before your alarm.
A new power saving mode is likely to be added to improve battery life on the Xiaomi Mi Band 7. The company has not yet officially confirmed the launch, but it is being said that it can be presented with Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Last year, the Mi Band 6 was launched in China in March and was introduced in India in the second half of the year.
The Mi Band 6 also brought several upgrades as compared to the previous Xiaomi bands. It flaunts a 1.56-inch AMOLED display that was also seen on the Mi Band 5. This 1.1-inch display is bigger than the AMOLED display. Its display will support 450 nits peak brightness and an anti-fingerprint coating. It offers 24×7 heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring as well as sleep tracking. The band supports 30 sports modes that can track 6 activities such as walking, running, indoor treadmill and cycling. It has a 125mAh battery. It can give 14 days of battery on every charge.
Other features of the Mi Band 7 include Bluetooth 5.0, female health-tracking, PAI, camera remote shutter, breathing exercises and stress monitoring. The band works with smartphones running both Android and iOS. Xiaomi launched it in Black, Orange, Yellow, Olive, Ivory and Blue shades.
