Mumbai, 23 February 2022. The Mirchi app has been launched on Apple, Android smartphones as well as Android Auto and Apple Car Play systems for Indian and South Asian listeners living in the US, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. The company has said that it will soon be introduced in other countries as well.

Mirchi App provides 12 Live FM stations from 11 cities of India, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh and Patna. Soon more cities will be added to it. For listeners who are from these cities and live outside the country to listen to content in their own language, a shortcut facility has also been made available in this app. It is the easiest way to stay connected with family and friends. In this, the stations have been time shifted, which are adjusted according to different time zones. A listener in New York will be able to listen to Mirchi Mumbai’s breakfast show during his breakfast time. Whereas a listener in California will be able to listen to the same show in California time. The same will happen with the listeners of the Middle East. Listeners will now be able to know what is happening in India in the fields of music, movies, travel, stock markets and more.

The app also features hours of curated audio stories across genres like Drama, Comedy, Romance, Motivational, Mystery, Culture, Thriller and many more. Also some of Mirchi’s best content like RJ Naved’s Cock Prank Call, “The Devdutt Patnaik” Mythology Show, “The Bhatt Show” hosted by Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt on Bollywood Controversies, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s “What Women” “Want” interview series written by Saddat Hasan Manto and voiced by celebrities like Nandita Das, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and RJ Saima will be made available on the app.

Mirchi App extends Mirchi’s reach from local radio stations in these countries by providing an always on app experience, by providing content at one tap.
