asus 8z launch in india: asus 8z is coming to india

new Delhi. Asus is finally going to launch its latest Asus 8z aka Zenfone 8 smartphone in India. The company has confirmed this on its social media handle. It is said that the Asus 8z will be launched on February 28. The company was supposed to launch this device in August last year, but it could not happen due to the Kovid-19 lockdown in most parts of the country.

Looks like Asus is now finally ready to launch the device in India. To recall, the Asus Zenfone 8 made its global debut in May 2021 with the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip smartphone. The company says that with this “compact” smartphone, users will get to see unique performance. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Apart from this, nothing is known about the upcoming phone through the latest teaser.

The device flaunts a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a peak brightness of 110nits and 120Hz refresh rate. Its panel comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. HDR 10+ has been supported in this. The premium smartphone flaunts a punch-hole display design and a dual-camera setup at the back.

This phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is given in many 2021 flagship phones. It can be given up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has a 4000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It comes with stereo speakers with Dirac HD sound.

For photography, the company has given a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor. It has a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 secondary sensor. Also on the front is a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 camera with dual phase-detection autofocus lens. The device comes with three microphones with OZO audio zoom and noise reduction technology. Both claim to give better audio recording experience to the users.

In Europe, the Asus Zenfone 8 was launched at EUR 599, which is approximately Rs 53,200 in India. But, the Asus 8z price in the Indian market is expected to be much lower. It is expected that this device will give direct competition to smartphones like OnePlus 9RT and the recently launched iQOO 9. These handsets come at a price of Rs 40,000.
