DigiLocker: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has developed this app for access to store documents in the cloud. This app helps all Aadhaar holders to get their authentic documents like driving license, vehicle registration, academic marksheet digitally from the end users. It has 1GB of extra storage for uploading scanned copy of legal documents.
mParivahan: mParivahan has been developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This app is exclusively for information related to Regional Transport Offices and vehicles. It helps in locating the nearest RTO and Pollution Checking Center. Users can also apply for mock driving license test using this app. The app will also provide the registration details for the purchase of second hand vehicles.
mPassport: The Ministry of External Affairs has come up with a Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) division as a part of the Passport Seva Project. This app is for questions related to Passport Service by the general public. This app provides services like checking application status, checking Passport Service Center.
UMANG: UMANG App along with National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology has come up with new age digital governance. This app provides all the necessary services from local to central, compiled in one app.
BHIM UPI App: This app is developed by National Payments Corporation of India based on Unified Payments Interface (UPI). This user-friendly app allows you to send and receive money from a UPI payment address to a non-UPI-based account. This is done by scanning the QR code along with the account number, IFSC code or MMID code.
GST Rate Finder App: The app was developed by the Central Board of Excise and Custom (CBEC) under the Ministry of Finance to provide easy access to (GST) rates. You can use this app to find GST rates anywhere in the market or in any restaurant to check GST rates.
mAadhaar App: Through this app of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Aadhaar card will be taken in digital format. This is the softcopy version of storing the Aadhar card. Talking about other tasks, it includes updating of address, printing of Aadhar card with support for multiple languages.
MADAD App: The Ministry of External Affairs has launched this app to log and track complaints of consular service offered by Indian Embassies in foreign locations. The app is designed to handle imprisonment, labor abuse, repatriation and etc. of an Indian citizen in a foreign land.
MyGov App: This app is for staying updated with Indian politics. It acknowledges the direct participation of citizens to comment on the initiatives and policies of the government. It is a platform to build partnership between citizens and government through technology.
Aarogya Setu App: The Aarogya Setu app was developed by the National Informatics Center under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. This mobile app provides information related to Kovid-19. The app helps in contract tracing, syndromic mapping and self-assessment to identify risk related to COVID-19.
